Four letters that shaped our lives
& became our why.
Our name came to us shortly after we decided to take on the dream of building our own venue. We believe it was sent to us from Garett Christopher Hall, our sweet boy who is in Heaven.
Garett was wise beyond his years and used to tell us he would be five years old forever. We always believed he was just excited about growing up and turning five! It was only after losing him to a rare pediatric brain tumor called DIPG only 6 months after his 5th birthday, we felt maybe he knew something we didn’t.
We are a family-owned & operated business, in honor of one of our own.
Our angel, our inspiration, our why.
DIPG. Four letters have never held so much pain and devastation before. On May 15, 2010 we heard those four letters for the first time. Garett, the first grandbaby of the family, was being transported from Memorial Hermann in The Woodlands to Texas Children’s in Houston. A golf ball-sized tumor was discovered at the base of his brain.
Diffused Intrinsic Pontine Glioma.
It's an extremely rare pediatric brain tumor, which has a 0% survival rate and usually a window of 9 – 12 months of survival after the initial diagnosis.
During those next several months Garett became a boy scout, fire chief, police officer, fighter jet pilot and celebrated his birthday in all things Army, just like his daddy. He earned his wings on June 23, 2011 after battling for thirteen brave months. He is “Forever 5” just as he predicted he would be.
When a four-year-old child goes to sleep, you expect them to wake up well rested and ready for the new day! When the unexpected happens and your child is showing symptoms of a disease you've never heard of, you experience a rollercoaster of emotions and feelings you can't explain. You wonder if anyone could possibly understand what you're going through.

In 2018, we felt called to start a family-owned and operated business that would celebrate life, love and family. Forever 5 Events is honored to give back a portion of every event in support of curing the disease that took our beloved Garett from us.
